Welcome to our website for the Log Home industry. Our website consists of industry resources, information, news, stories, photos along with tips and help with Log Home website marketing and website design. A log house is structurally the same as a log cabin. Most log home dealars prefer to call them log homes or house as log cabins conjur up thoughts of a smaller log home.

Log homes are popular around the world from the United States to Sweden, Finland, Russsia and Norway along with Central Europe. In the 1920′s log homes were first milled starting to appear using logs which were pre-cut and shaped rather than hand hewn. There are over 500 different log home dealers around the world. There are green logs and air dried logs to kiln dried log and some are laminated logs as well. Milled logs vary but are typically D shaped logs, Full round logs, Square logs and Swedish Cope logs.

The log cabin has always been a symbol of our American roots and common upbringing. Seven US Presidents were born in log cabins consisting of Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson and James Buchanan.
